Florasbest Greenhouses Ltd is committed to becoming a leader in innovative technologies. To achieve our long-term vision, we’ve established four strategic priorities: Globalize, Outperform, Simplify, and Inspire (GO SIMPLE). We believe that capacity building through training is crucial for success, which is why we prioritize on-the-job training to develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for effective job performance.
Our demonstration plant at the college is the cornerstone of our success, as it allows us to develop a successful business model that can be replicated throughout Uganda. Once the system delivers the required economic benefits, we plan to scale up production facilities in other suitable parts of the country and deploy our trained staff members to establish and manage sustainable production. Our mission is to contribute to food security and environmental sustainability through our agricultural activities in Uganda.
To inform our strategy, we analyzed major long-term market trends, particularly in the frontier Africa markets. We identified three MEGATRENDS – Consolidation, Uganda/Africa markets, and Speed – that will impact our businesses in the coming years.

- As growth continues to shift from mature and saturated western markets to emerging frontier markets in Africa, we recognize the need to expand our footprint on the African market over the coming years.
- We anticipate a rapidly changing market landscape, with suppliers, customers, and competitors making faster decisions. Further digitalization will also impact our market environment. To stay competitive, we will simplify our product and service offerings and streamline our processes to better align with the expectations and natural environment of our customers. By doing so, we aim to increase our operational excellence.
