Greenhouse Skilled Worker Course

At Floras Best, we offer a comprehensive 6-month training program in greenhouse management. Our program covers a range of topics, including planning and building greenhouses, occupational health and safety, irrigation systems, pest and disease control, seed management, and much more.

Greenhouse Manager Course

If you’re interested in becoming a greenhouse manager, Floras Best offers a comprehensive training program that builds on the skills taught in our Greenhouse Skilled Worker Course. In addition to the topics covered in the worker course, the manager course provides additional training in areas such as location search, market research, product selection, negotiation methods, human resource planning, leadership tools, budget planning, business plan writing, control tools, and documentation techniques.

To apply to this programm, you need a completed degree (diploma or certificate) in an agricultural field to ensure the essential basic knowledge. If you meet that requirement, you can gain access to one of our courses. Great features of this program are:

Modular Training: 
Floras Best’s training curricula are structured in a modular way, allowing for individual modules to be taught later on. This is beneficial for farmers who only want to train in specific areas, such as irrigation techniques or pest and disease control, and have limited time availability. We offer weekend and weekly courses to accommodate their schedules.

On-site consultancy activities: 
Our trainers at the Floras Best training facility will guide and practically train the students in their daily training routine. However, we also offer on-site training where a trainer can teach a community how to use greenhouses and other techniques. Our training includes handling harvested products and covers topics like further processing and marketing. This ensures the greatest possible success for public projects and investments.
